ZYN Stand Project by Geckow
In January, ZYN and KESCH came to
Geckow with a demanding brief: create a modular roadshow activation that could be designed, produced, and delivered in just a few weeks, while still holding its own across multiple locations and under challenging winter conditions, including alpine venues.
The result needed to do more than function well. It had to travel well, install fast, and look unmistakably on-brand every time it appeared.
Geckow developed the multimedia integration and technical architecture, working closely with Daniel Steinböck and the
Eventtischlerei team, who brought the structural expertise needed for durable, transportable event construction.
Together, they created a connected system of counters, lighting, and media wall that could withstand frequent assembly and dismantling, as well as transport by helicopter and Ski-Doo. All in only 3 weeks time.
The full exhibition wall was built from 56 panels across three sections, allowing it to work either as one continuous wall of just under 6 metres or as separate modular setups depending on the event format.
At the centre of the activation was a dynamic LED feature designed to carry the brand story with more flexibility and more impact. Each strip could be controlled individually through Visual Productions SpiNodes, enabling animated brand moments, interactive visual effects, and location-specific content that adapted to the character of each roadshow stop.
That gave the setup a living, programmable quality rather than a static one.
At every stop, the ZYN booth became the visual anchor of the space. It did exactly what a strong roadshow installation should do: stop people, pull them in, and hold their attention.
Built against a tight deadline, engineered for difficult conditions, and delivered through close collaboration, it shows what happens when technical precision and brand thinking move in the same direction.
